This International Standard specifies a test method for determining the reaction to fire performance ofpipe insulation products and some pipe insulation systems installed in a small room. The product ismounted and fixed in a standard ISO 9705 room so that flames from a simulated internal fire willimpinge directly onto the product fitted to the internal corner away from the doorway. This fire scenariorepresents a developing fire within a well-ventilated room in a building or a ship.The scenario is valid for fires in a room where pipe insulation products are installed within buildingapplications, e.g. pipe and duct rooms in public buildings, apartment blocks,
