This European Standard describes two methods for the analysis of lead in PVC-insulating and sheathingmaterials for electric and for optical fibre cables. The samples of PVC are taken from the finished cable.Method A provides a quantitative method and Method B provides a qualitative method.Both Method A and Method B are applicable to products having a total lead content greater than or equalto 0,01 %.
