This sheet of IEC 60454-3 contains the requirements for:– glass fabric tapes with pressure-sensitive adhesive;– cellulose acetate woven fabric tapes with rubber thermosetting adhesive;– combined cellulose-viscose woven fabric tapes, one side covered with a thermoplasticmaterial, the other side with thermosetting adhesive.Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However,the selection of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actualrequirements necessary for adequate performance in that application, and not based on thisspecification alone.
