This specification establishes performance requirements for fiber reinforced thermoset profiles for use in fenestration products. This specification references test procedures and requirements for standard weathering performance of fiber reinforced thermoset profiles. This specification addresses requirements covering design criteria, finish and appearance, weathering performance and physical properties. To qualify as meeting this specification, products tested shall meet all requirements as specified herein. This specification does not address fiber reinforced thermoset profiles used in conjunction with thermal barrier framing assemblies. The primary units of measure in this document are SI units. The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for reference only. This document was developed in an open and consensus process and is maintained by representative members of AAMA as advisory information.
