This part of ISO 6101 specifies a flame atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of the zinc content of rubbers.
The method is applicable to products having zinc contents in the range 0,1 to 3,0 % (m/m). Zinc contents outside this range may be determined, provided that suitable adjustments are made to the mass of the test portion and to the concentra-tions of the solutions used.
