GB/T 25978-2018 Road vehicl—Plates and label

Scope: This standard specifies the classification, performance requirements and test methods of signs and labels used on road vehicles to describe vehicle information. This standard applies to all kinds of signs and labels used on road vehicles to describe vehicle manufacturing information, warning information, manipulation and instructional information, etc. This standard does not apply to the vehicle identification directly formed on the body of the vehicle or vehicle parts by engraving, etching, casting, spraying, printing, or sharpening on the body of the part. This standard does not apply to the identification of vehicles or components used in vehicle production, transportation and handover (removable before normal use of the vehicle). All kinds of signs and labels used for vehicle parts and assemblies can be adopted by reference.
