- This standard establishes a query structure and characteristic vocabulary for identifying rolling bearings, housings, accessories and spherical plain bearings, mainly used in electronic media, such as the Internet. This standard does not cover inquiry procedures. This International Standard does not establish a query structure and property vocabulary for identifying linear motion rolling bearings. Note: The rolling bearing reference dictionary in this document is defined in ISO/TS 23768 1. ISO/TS 23768 1 contains the definition of bearing classification and the characteristics and value range data element types.
