Scope

This standard specifies the design, safety and functional minimum requirements, marking, interface type and size, test procedures, etc. of liquefied natural gas (LNG) dry quick connectors. This standard applies to dry quick connectors installed in LNG hose filling systems such as LNG bunkering ships, tank trucks, shore-based facilities and other filling facilities, and does not apply to hydraulic quick connectors used for rigid loading and unloading arms specified in ISO16904. Connector (QCDC). This standard is applicable to dry quick connectors with nominal size DN25~DN200.
