GB/T 39521-2020 Tractors and machinery for agriculture—Auto-guidance systems for operator-controlled tractors and self-propelled machines—Safety requirements

Scope: This standard specifies the safety requirements for automatic navigation systems used in agricultural tractors and self-propelled agricultural machinery. This standard applies to tractor or self-propelled machinery manufacturers installing automatic navigation systems on equipment, and automatic navigation systems modified after the equipment leaves the factory. This standard applies to navigation systems that require an on-board driver to exercise primary control over tractors or self-propelled machinery. This standard does not specify the necessary requirements to ensure the integrity of complex electronic control systems in automatic navigation systems. These requirements are given in other standards dealing with complex electrical/electronic vehicle control systems. When the requirements of this standard are different from those of a specific machine standard, the requirements of a specific machine standard take precedence over this standard. This standard is neither applicable to tractors and self-propelled machinery with automatic navigation systems produced before the date of release, nor is it applicable to automatic navigation systems that have been fully refitted on the market before the date of release. NOTE: Specific road traffic regulations may impose additional requirements on automatic navigation systems.
