This standard specifies the performance requirements for electronic control gear for tubular fluorescent lamps. The electronic control device is used with an AC power supply and/or a DC power supply with a voltage not exceeding 1000V and a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. Working fluorescent lights. Note 1: The tests described in this standard are all type tests. Test requirements for individual control devices during production are not included. Note 2: For end products such as luminaires and stand-alone control gear, there are specific standards on supply current harmonics and immunity specifications. In this regard, the control unit in the luminaire plays a major role. Controls and other components shall comply with these standards. Note 3: The requirements for the digital addressable lighting interface of electronic control gear are given in IEC62386.
