This standard specifies the size, characteristics and location of the speed identification sign (SIS) indicating the maximum travel speed of agricultural vehicles. Note: The operator approaching the equipment from behind on the highway can see the speed identification mark behind the equipment, and the speed identification mark installed in front of the towed equipment is used to remind the driver of the towing vehicle the maximum speed that the towing equipment unit can travel. This standard applies to self-propelled, semi-integrated and towed equipment traveling on roads.
