Scope

This standard specifies the instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures and test reports for the Vickers hardness test of resistance spot welded, projection welded and seam welded joints. This standard applies to the determination of small force values or micro-Vickers hardness of metal plate resistance welding joints with a thickness of 0.5 mm to 6.0 mm.
