Scope

This part of GB/T 24637 provides a model for geometric specification and inspection, defines the corresponding concepts, also gives the mathematical basis of concepts related to the model, and defines the general terms of workpiece geometric elements. The purpose of this part to define the basic concepts of the GPS system is to: --- Provide a clear GPS language used in design, manufacture and inspection; --- Determine elements, characteristics and rules, thereby providing a basis for GPS specifications; --- Provide Provides a complete symbolic language for marking GPS specifications; ——Provides simplified notation by defining default rules; ——Provides consistent rules for inspection.
