Scope
This part of GB/T7260 specifies the performance and test requirements for electronic DC output uninterruptible power supply systems (DC uninterruptible power supply) applicable to movable, non-movable and fixed installations. This type of DC uninterruptible power supply has the following characteristics: --- powered by an AC voltage source not exceeding 1000V; --- providing a DC output voltage not exceeding 1500V; --- containing an energy storage device; --- the main function is Guarantee the continuity of DC power supply to the load. This section specifies the performance and test requirements of a complete DC-UPS system (rather than a single DC-UPS functional unit). For the performance and test requirements of a single DC-UPS functional unit, see the IEC publications mentioned in the references, which do not contradict this section. The DC uninterruptible power supply ranges from less than one hundred watts to megawatts, which can meet the requirements of various loads for power availability and power supply quality. See Appendices A and B for information on typical DC-UPS configurations and topologies. This section also includes performance and test requirements related to components such as circuit breakers, disconnectors and interconnection switches (if any) integrated in the DC uninterruptible power supply. These components interact with other functional units of the DC UPS to maintain load power continuity. This part does not include: --- Traditional AC input distribution boards and their associated switches; --- Traditional DC distribution boards and their associated switches; --- Traditional AC uninterruptible power supplies covered by IEC62040 3; --- - low-voltage DC power supply equipment covered by specific product standards (such as IEC 61204) and equipment covered by specific product standards (such as ITU communication standards); - systems whose output voltage is derived from rotating electrical machines. Note 1: This section considers that uninterruptible power supply systems are mainly used in the power supply of information technology (IT) equipment. Therefore, the DC-UPS output characteristics specified in this section are also designed to ensure compatibility with the requirements of IT equipment. This is subject to the manufacturer's declared limits, including requirements for steady-state and transient voltage changes, and for powering IT equipment with both resistive and constant-power load characteristics. Note 2: The test load specified in this section simulates both resistive and constant power load characteristics. The application of this type of load is to verify the design and performance claimed by the manufacturer, and to minimize the complexity and energy consumption of the test process.
