This standard specifies the determination methods of steady-state crack growth resistance, crack opening displacement δ5 and critical crack tip opening angle Ψc for crack-containing low-constraint and easily plastically deformable homogeneous metal materials under quasi-static loading. For the notched compact tensile specimen and the central crack tensile specimen, the test is carried out under the condition of slowly increasing the displacement by prefabricating the crack through fatigue. The test methods described in this standard cover those specimens that do not meet the fracture performance size insensitive, such as relatively thin size compact tensile specimens and central crack tensile specimens. This standard gives the method for determining the crack growth resistance curve (R-curve). ISO12135:2002 Determination of fracture of compact tensile specimens
