Scope: This standard specifies the room temperature tensile test method for sintered metal materials, including principles, symbols and descriptions, samples, test equipment, test procedures, calculation of test results, rounding off of values and test reports. This standard is applicable to the determination of yield strength, specified plastic elongation strength, tensile strength, elongation after fracture and reduction of area of machined or non-machined sintered metal materials (except cemented carbide).
