GB/T 38609-2020 Deep-fat fryers for household use—Methods for measuring the performance

Scope: This standard applies to household electric deep fryers with an oil or grease capacity not exceeding 4.0L. The purpose of this standard is to illustrate and define the main performance characteristics of deep fat fryers of interest to users, describe the test methods for measuring these characteristics and give some guidelines for evaluating test results. Taking into account the low accuracy and low repeatability due to variables such as time, test materials, components and the subjective judgment of the test tester, the test method described is more practically applicable to several appliances. Within the same laboratory, by the same tester, with the same tool, the comparison test is carried out in the same laboratory, rather than testing a single appliance in different laboratories. 1.2 Not applicable
