This standard specifies the basic composition, configuration and networking principles of the clock synchronization system for smart factories and industrial automation systems, specifies the terminology, definition functions, requirements of the clock synchronization system, and the management method of the clock synchronization system. The measurement test conditions of the synchronization system, the measurement method of the measurement item, the measurement target and the measurement cycle and other requirements. This standard is applicable to work in the basic reference model of open system interconnection specified in GB/T9387.1 Layer 1-2 or layer 1-3, and the physical layer conforms to IEEE802.3 specification, and the data link layer conforms to IEEE802. 1D and GB/T15629.2 specifications, the network layer conforms to the industrial Ethernet switch of the Internet Engineering Task Force (CIETEF) IP protocol complex specification.
