- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labels, instruction manuals, packaging, transportation and storage of household stainless steel sinks (hereinafter referred to as sinks). This standard applies to stainless steel sinks for household and similar purposes. This standard does not address safety requirements related to food contact materials.
