Scope

This part of GB/T 39515 specifies general requirements for the design and performance of sprayers (see ISO 5681 definition), in order to minimize potential environmental pollution risks during the use of sprayers, including risks that can be foreseen by the manufacturer. This standard also specifies the requirements for identifying sprayers and certain parts thereof, as well as the minimum requirements for the contents of the instructions for use. This section applies to all types of sprayers except knapsack sprayers in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and other fields. This section is used together with each other part of GB/T 39515, and other parts specify specific requirements for specific types of sprayers (see Appendix A). This section does not contain safety content, see ISO4254-6 for safety requirements. Note: ISO19932 gives the safety and environmental requirements for knapsack sprayers. This section does not apply to sprayers manufactured before its issue date.
