Scope
This part of GB/T20996 is a guidance document on the transient performance and fault protection requirements of high-voltage direct current systems; it discusses the two-terminal high-voltage direct current system composed of three-phase bridge (two-circuit) connected 12-pulse (dynamic) converter units. Fault and operational transient performance, does not deal with multi-terminal HVDC systems, but discusses parallel converters and parallel lines involved in two-terminal systems; assumes that the converters use thyristor valves as bridge arms, using gapless The metal oxide arrester is insulated and coordinated, and the power can be transmitted in both directions. This section does not consider diode valves. This section only deals with grid-commutated converters, including converters with capacitor-commutated circuit structures. In IEC60146 1 1, IEC60146 1 -)2 and IEC60146
