Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the color fastness of leather to solvents. This standard applies to the determination of the color fastness to solvents of unused and unwashed leather. This standard does not apply to leather composite materials and finished leather garments, nor does it apply to evaluating the dry-cleaning effect of leather garments.
