Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of porous media burners. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of porous media burners (hereinafter referred to as burners) with a rated output thermal power of 30 kW to 2 800 KW. This standard does not apply to naturally ventilated non-electrically driven and controlled burners.
