Scope

This standard specifies the classification and presentation of cemented carbide spiral hole rods, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage quality certificates and purchase orders (or contracts). This standard is applicable to the processing of cemented carbide spiral hole rods for cutting tools with internal cooling holes (hereinafter referred to as "spiral hole rods").
