Scope: This part of GB/T18997 specifies the terminology and terms of aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipes (abbreviated as butt-welded aluminum-plastic pipes) that use embedded butt-welded aluminum pipes as reinforced metal layers, and are compounded by co-extruded hot-melt adhesives and inner and outer plastics. Definitions, symbols and abbreviations, classification, conditions of use and marks, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage. This part is applicable to heat-resistant polyethylene butt-welded aluminum-plastic pipes, cross-linked polyethylene butt-welded aluminum-plastic pipes and random copolymerized polypropylene butt-welded aluminum-plastic pipes for hot and cold water distribution systems, and also applies to the working temperature not higher than Polyethylene butt-welded aluminum-plastic pipes and cross-linked polyethylene butt-welded aluminum-plastic pipes for cold water, gas, compressed air and special fluid distribution systems at 40 °C.
