- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for identifying rubber types by analyzing rubber cracking products by pyrolysis gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. This standard applies to raw rubber, vulcanized rubber or unvulcanized rubber. These rubbers can be a single rubber or a combination of two or more rubbers. Some types of rubber with a content of less than 10% in rubber cannot be detected and identified by this standard. The types of rubber identified in this standard are not limited to those given in Clause 4.
