Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and purchase orders (or contracts) for hafnium rods and wires. This standard applies to hafnium rods and wires for nuclear industry and general industrial use produced by forging, extrusion, rolling and drawing processes.
