GB/T 39690.1-2020 Plastics—Mixtures of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) recyclate derived from PP and PE used for flexible and rigid consumer packaging—Part 1: Designation system and basis for specification
This part of GB/T 39690 specifies the nomenclature system and classification basis for recycled mixtures of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). This section applies to polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) recycled mixtures, which are flexible or rigid PP and PE materials from molded and extruded consumer packaging. Packaging material recycling that is not suitable for transporting, handling or storing dangerous goods. This section does not apply to mixtures of recycled resins and new resins. This section does not apply to mixtures containing special types of PE or PP, such as PE-UHMW, TPO, etc. The types of PP and PE recycled blends are differentiated by a classification system based on the following specified performance levels: a) composition; b) melt mass flow rate; c) density; d) color. It does not mean that materials with the same designation necessarily have the same properties. This part of GB/T 39690 does not provide engineering data, performance data, or data used to describe the processing conditions required for the specific use and/or processing method of the material. If additional performance data is necessary, it shall, if applicable, be determined in accordance with the provisions of ISO 18263 2 .
