This standard specifies the determination of free gossypol in food by liquid chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of free gossypol in vegetable oil or other foods that use cottonseed cake as raw material, with a minimum detection amount of 5 ng and a minimum detection concentration of 5 mg/kg.
