Scope

This standard specifies the classification, structure and materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marks of mechanical temperature control devices for gas burners and burning appliances (hereinafter referred to as "thermostats") that use urban gas specified in GB/T13611. And instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to thermostats installed in gas stoves, instant water heaters, volumetric water heaters, hot plate stoves, fryers, heaters and ovens, etc., in gas appliances whose maximum inlet pressure is not greater than 10kPa.
