Scope
This standard describes the operating conditions and typical characteristics of active infeed converters (AIC) using various technologies and topologies, which can be connected between the ac side of the supply network (grid) and the dc side with constant current or voltage, And the electric power (active power and reactive power) conversion is carried out in two directions of forward and reverse (feedback). Typically, active-feed converters are compatible with variable-speed electrical drive systems (PDS), uninterruptible power systems (UPS), active filters, photovoltaic systems, wind power systems, battery-backed power management for all voltages and power classes used together with the DC side of the system, etc. Active feed converters are usually connected between the power supply network (AC side) and the DC side of the current or voltage. The purpose is to avoid low-frequency harmonics (such as frequencies below 1kHz) by synthesizing sine-wave AC currents. Some of them also compensate for the existing harmonic distortion of a given supply side voltage. Moreover, they can adjust the power factor of the supply network by transferring electric power (active and reactive) in both forward and reverse (feedback) directions, which can save energy and stabilize the supply voltage in the system, or integrate renewable energy or The electrical energy storage device is coupled to the power supply network. This standard gives a practical method for analyzing the emission values of active infeed converters in supply networks. The method is based on recent results of line impedance values and capacitor withstand capabilities directly connected to the supply network in the frequency band 2kHz to 9kHz. This leads to fundamental considerations for the design of emission values at frequencies below 150 kHz. The following are outside the scope of this standard: --- Active feed application design, development or further functional requirements; --- Parasitic elements in the facility or poor electronic design and their handling measures lead to active Possibility of interaction or influence with other equipment; - "overhead line" supply network: lack of information (measurement) on its three-phase impedance. This may be the subject of a future release.
