- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product models, measurement requirements, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, and storage of electronic desk scales (hereinafter referred to as "scales"). This standard is applicable to digital indicating electronic table scales composed of a load cell as a primary conversion element, a carrier, an electronic device, and a digital display device.
