Scope

This standard specifies the equipment, samples, test procedures and test reports for tensile shear tests of resistance spot welded and projection welded lap joints of metallic materials. This standard applies to resistance welding joints with a metal plate thickness of 0.5 mm to 10 mm and a maximum solder joint diameter of 7t (t is the thickness of the plate, and when the plate thickness is different, t is the thickness of the thinner plate).
