Scope
This standard describes the preparation of test samples for testing the ultimate aerobic and anaerobic biodegradability in aqueous media, activated sludge, compost, digested sludge and soil. The purpose is to achieve the dimensional consistency of the test samples, thereby improving the repeatability of the test results during the final biodegradability test of the product. These methods are applicable to the following materials: --- natural and/or synthetic polymers, copolymers and their mixtures; --- plastic materials containing additives such as plasticizers, pigments, etc.; --- containing organic or inorganic fillers Plastic composite materials; - products made of the above materials.
