GB/T 8421-2020 Agricultural wheeled tractors—Operator's seat—Laboratory measurement of transmitted vibration

Scope: This standard specifies a laboratory measurement and evaluation method for the vibration reduction of the driver's seat suspension of agricultural wheeled tractors. This standard complies with the requirements of GB/T18707.1. This standard also stipulates the evaluation index based on the test results, and clearly specifies the input vibration level, involving three levels of rigid rear axles and agricultural rubber-tyred tractors without low-frequency vibration-absorbing cab units, and less than 3600kg is level 1 , from 3600kg to 6500kg is grade 2, and more than 6500kg is grade 3, each of which includes a group of tractors with similar vibration characteristics. This method tests the damping effect of the seat suspension on the vertical vibration of the driver's whole body in the range of 1 Hz to 20 Hz. This test method is not applicable to the vibration of the driver outside the seat (such as the vibration of the driver's feet on the floor or control pedals or hands on the steering wheel). Note: The test criteria of this standard are for conventionally designed agricultural tractor driver's seats. Independent front or rear axles, or tractors with independent front and rear axles, low frequency cab suspension, these will produce very distinct vibration signatures. These vibration characteristics can be measured according to GB/T 10910, or other methods of measuring and evaluating the performance of the seat suspension on such tractors can be used.
