Scope

This standard specifies the composition and classification, technical requirements and test methods of the water positioning mooring system. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and testing of deep-water positioning mooring systems (hereinafter referred to as positioning mooring systems) for offshore floating installations with a water depth not exceeding 1 500 m.
