Scope

This standard specifies the test conditions, basic principles of testing, test equipment, test samples, test procedures and test reports for EMU glass, window static pressure resistance and window sealing performance tests. This standard is applicable to evaluate the static pressure resistance and sealing performance of glass, front windows and side windows of EMUs whose speed is greater than or equal to 160 km/h.
