Scope

This International Standard gives guidance for the characterization of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) in mixtures using optical absorption spectroscopy. This standard is suitable for measuring the diameter, purity and mass fraction of metallic SWCNTs in the total SWCNT of samples. When used for nanotube diameter analysis, the applicable diameter range is 1nm~2nm.
