Scope
This standard specifies the types, technical requirements, test methods, re-inspection and supply technical conditions of high-strength steel solid welding wire and filler wire for gas-shielded arc welding. This standard applies to high-strength steel solid welding wires and filler wires (hereinafter referred to as "welding wires") for gas metal arc welding and tungsten inert gas arc welding for which the minimum tensile strength of deposited metal is greater than 570 MPa.
