Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements and marks of various sound calibrators. This standard is applicable to three grades of sound calibrators of grade 0, grade 1 and grade 2 arranged in order of accuracy from high to low under standard conditions. Acoustic calibrators intended for use within a limited range of ambient conditions are distinguished by the designation "L". Note: The term "grade" indicates the degree of accuracy of the sound calibrator, which is equivalent to the term "type" used in GB3785. This standard does not deal with the calibration technique of the sound calibrator itself, nor does it deal with the calibration of any measuring device or system using the sound calibrator.
