- This standard specifies the test method for measuring the interfacial tension of surfactants by pulling up liquid film. This standard applies to two immiscible liquid phases (an aqueous phase and an organic phase) containing one or more anionic or nonionic surfactants, as well as to two immiscible phases other than the above Soluble liquid phase system. This standard is not applicable to the determination of the interfacial tension of two immiscible solution-phase systems containing cationic surfactants. The interfacial tension of this system can only be determined by the volumetric titration method.
