Scope

This part of GB5135 specifies the classification, nominal operating temperature, color mark, model specification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) nozzles. This part is applicable to Early Suppression Rapid Response (ESFR) nozzles with nominal flow coefficients of 202 (sag and vertical), K242 (sag and vertical), K323 (sag), T363 (serious), etc. Types of Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) nozzles may refer to this section. This section does not apply to special application nozzles.
