Scope

This part of GB/T18993 specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, abbreviations, grades of service conditions, materials and hygienic requirements for chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) piping systems for hot and cold water. This Part, together with other parts of GB/T 18993, applies to chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) piping systems for building hot and cold water. Note 1: The purchaser is responsible for properly selecting this product according to its specific application requirements and in combination with relevant regulations, standards or normative requirements. Note 2: For the connection of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride pipes and fittings for hot and cold water, and the connection of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride pipes and fittings with other plastic or non-plastic parts, please refer to the relevant parts of GB/T18993 and other standards document.
