GB/T 20660-2020 Petroleum and natural gas industries—Control and mitigation of fires and explosions on offshore production installations—Requirements and guidelines
This standard specifies the objectives and functional requirements for fire and explosion control and mitigation measures for offshore production facilities. This standard applies to fixed offshore structures and floating production, storage and offloading systems in the oil and gas industry. This standard does not apply to mobile offshore installations and underwater installations as defined in this standard, but certain principles contained in this standard can be used as a guide. This standard is based on a risk assessment of offshore installations for the selection of fire and explosion control and mitigation measures. The methods used in such assessments and associated recommended practices vary with the complexity of the manufacturing process and facility, the type of facility (open or closed), staffing, and the relevant environmental conditions in the area of operation. Note: For related offshore installations, not only need to meet the requirements of this standard, but also need to meet the requirements of laws, regulations and rules related to offshore installations.
