Scope

This standard specifies the formimine-H acid spectrophotometric method for the determination of boron. This standard applies to the determination of 0.005% to 0.5% boron (B) content in compound fertilizers. This standard is not applicable to the determination of boron content in compound fertilizers containing humic acid and colored organic matter.
