- Scope
- This standard introduces simulation methods for the effects of terrestrial solar radiation on equipment and components. The main characteristics of the simulated environment are the observed solar spectral energy distribution on the ground and the intensity of integrated energy absorption with the controlled temperature conditions. However, a combination of solar radiation (including sky radiation) and other environments such as temperature, humidity, and air velocity needs to be considered.
