- This standard specifies the type, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, inspection methods, signs and packaging of vernier calipers. This standard applies to vernier calipers with a vernier reading of 0.02mm and 0.05mm and a maximum measuring length of 1000mm (hereinafter referred to as "caliper").
