Scope: This standard specifies terms and codes for the quality of road vehicles (excluding road vehicles manufactured for the first time) as defined in ISO 3833. A road vehicle may or may not be a complete vehicle. The code is used for vehicle data exchange and electronic processing. This standard does not include the following vehicles: - Vehicles specially designed not for passenger transport and (or) cargo use; - Motorcycles and mopeds covered by ISO6726; -- Caravan trailers covered by ISO7237. This standard does not specify the measurement method, measurement unit and error.
