GB/T 17037.1-1997 Injection moulding of test specimens of thermoplastic materails--Part 1: General principles and moulding of multipurpose and bar test specimens (English Version)
This standard gives the general principles followed by injection molding samples of thermoplastic materials and the definition of condition parameters involved in injection molding samples. The detailed reference data of mold design for the preparation of multi-purpose specimens and 80mm×10mm×4mm long specimens conforming to ISO3167 are given. This standard is the basis for determining reproducible injection molding conditions, which can unify the various main operating parameters describing the injection molding process, and can also unify the various conditions for reporting injection molding. The exact conditions required to prepare comparable and reproducible specimens will vary from material to material. These conditions are given in the standards of the relevant materials, or agreed between the supplier and the purchaser. This standard applies to the preparation of injection molding samples of thermoplastic materials. Note 1: Cyclic tests on acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene (ABS), styrene/butadiene (SB) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) show that the mold design is to ensure that the performance of injection molded specimens has One of the important factors of reproducibility.
