- This standard specifies the commonly used terms and definitions (or descriptions) of tire valves. This standard applies to cars, trucks (including passenger cars, trailers and trolleybuses), industrial vehicles, engineering machinery, tractors and agricultural, forestry machinery, motorcycles, animal-drawn vehicles and car pneumatic tire valves. Aviation tire valves should also be used as a reference.
